Train Of Life Chugs Along

Congratulations to "Train of Life" -- a group of rising 8th graders at Bedford Middle School. Through a raffle, bake sales and lemonade stands, they raised $1,003 for Project Return and $1,318 for the American Cancer Society. You go, girls! Pop In For A Pop Up at Westport Arts Center!

Grab your friends and pop in to the Westport Arts Center for a Pop Up exhibition by their Westport Artists Collective on Thursday, August 25 from 6 p.m. –  8 p.m.  The exhibition is free and open to the public, and will be on view through Saturday, August 27.

Enjoy wine and a delicious variety of appetizers, meet the artists, and purchase the showcased works of art.

Walk With a Doc

Let’s get out and walk!
Walk with a Doc is a national walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. While you walk at your own pace, you’ll have the opportunity to have questions answered by a local physician.
You don’t need any special gear and there are no special rules. Just put on a pair of comfortable shoes and walk alone, with friends, a partner or family or with a group. It’s a personal preference.

Where: Longshore Club Park, Westport (meet at the Marina parking lot)
