Folk Music in the 60s: The Coffee House Comes to Weston on Saturday, May 19

The Weston Historical Society presents “Folk Music in the 60s: The Coffee House”a panel discussion with live performances and a hootenanny; and featuring four nationally-known folksingers and songwriters on Saturday, May 19thfrom 7:30pm – 10:30pm at The Norfield Grange, 12 Good Hill Road in Weston, CT.

Roger Kaufman of Old School Music Productions will moderate/host “Folk Music in the 60s: The Coffee House”.  Appearing with Kaufman are composer/singer/radio-host Robin Batteau, composer/singer Rob Carlson, singer/songwriter/activist Jon Gailmor and arranger/singer-songwriter Jeff Southworth. These four musicians have written or played with some of America’s best known performers. 

Tickets are for sale in advance at www.westonhistoricalsociety.orgor at The Grange.  Admission is $25 for historical society members, and $30 for non-members. Snacks and beverages will be served.
